Title: Front Parking Sensor beeping randomly

I am just wondering if any of you have had this problem.

The one front parking sensor has been beeping at random times even if there is no obstruction, this normally happens when the car is travelling at low speeds (<15km/h) i.e. i think this is the speed they to operate at.

Well today i decided to clean the sensor and it has been quiet since. Hopefully this has solved the problem.

yup... they're quite susceptible to dirt (depends on the kind of dirt too, even worse if snow freezes over them). i get more false positives when it's filthy ;)

This happened when I had my first test drive, really annoying!
Thankfully my car is fine!

Just an update on my front parking sensor problem.

I have established that the licence plate had shifted a bit, i am guessing this was the obstruction. I have moved it to its original position and the sensor has been quiet since then, i hope this resolves the problem.
