Ive fitted a straight through exhaust to my bora tdi hoping to get the owl/cooo noise but instead it wistles all the time no owl seems to boost ok no limp mode ?

the noise you are after is when the turbo is stalling as wastegate opens and shuts,

Was a lovely sound on my 380 bhp 3 door cosworth was running 36psi of boost though

When I put a decat on my 115PD Golf, I found that I only really heard the owl when my car was in idle and I revved the engine before then easing off. By golly would it TWOOOO then! Yet I have seen over dervs that sound like they have got an owl stuck somewhere in the pipes! :laugh: :evil: The best one had to be Hoggy's 150PD :cool:

It is mapped 150 bhp egr delete stright throw pipe turbo recon few months back still no owl noise I had a none pd 110 bora owl like crazy make no sence heads smashed lol

Adam's MK4 wouldnt owl whilst you could hear Steve_PD's from about a mile away  :grin:

Nobody no wat it could be from wat ive read on other sites the sound is the vnt system closing as it dose make the oooowl noise only things I can think could it be actuator or bad n75 valve but sorely these would cores the dreaded limp mode ???? :cry:
