My dealer has a given me a confirmed build week, at what point will they be able to give me the details to use the VW build tracker?
I'm looking forward to checking it every day to see what's changed :D

Hi,

You need to ask your dealer for the order reference. This can be entered in the tracker.  I reached the point of checking deveral times a day, and even had it as a shortcut on the home screen of my iphone!!  The tracker is actually quite accurate, and showed my car had arrived at the dealer several days before it was supposed to.

Which build week do you have?

I had mine a week after I ordered the car so you should have had it by now. Contact your dealer and ask them for it

Yep, got mine the following week after i ordered.

Just ask them for the "order number" then pop it in here -

An interesting one this, as I have deliberately avoided asking for the order reference and haven't tracked my order at all!

I know, it goes against the grain (even surprised myself!) but I know I would have been logging in several times a day just hoping it would change, even knowing it only updates on a Sunday!

I've booked my collection for 1st March so for me, it's not relevant (too much) when it actually arrives so my advice would be to only check it if you really want it ASAP!

it doesnt just update on a sunday

mine updated friday when my car arrived in the uk and it updated just this morning to say the car is now at the dealers

maybe its just the early stages it updates weekly?

Between Christmas and New year, can't remember the exact date.

Looks like Iv'e been lucky with this order so far, other than my current insurer won't cover the GTI so I'll have to cancel and start a new policy.
