-
21mm usually
-
it's M18x1.5 so should be 27mm
-

-
Thanks for the replies i couldnt remember if it was 21 or 24mm cheers
-
yep, had quick look on mine - 21....
27 would be normal SW according to DIN for M18 but what's normal on cars.... (better than ford who use 13mm hex heads on M14 oil plugs)
-
Cheers for confirming
-
Thats handy! I have to swap mine over to the new exhaust down pipe! Cheers! :afro:
-
Mine isnt 21mm lol slightly bigger i will have to finish it tommorow
-
21mm That was around 13/16 when I was young many years ago.
-
Damn! Will have to check mine now! I should know really as I changed it...... oh that was about 4 or 5 years ago!
-
IIRC last one I did on a VR6 was 22mm. Perhaps aftermarket are fractionally bigger.
-
Mine maybe 22mm aswell as the 21mm is just a fraction to small
-
I checked with adjustable spanner.... cheap halfrauds one, wonder how good the gauge is.
but quite possible that different manufacturers have slightly different sizes...
-
Will find out what mine is this coming weekend!
-
The size is 22mm mine has a bosch one fitted that must be the normal size
