Post by: Ap69 on 16 January 2014, 21:11
hi guys, this is my first post,  my car run down is below, ive ordered a Gti through my employers lease scheme, really looking forward to learning and contributing, to this forum

im reasonably loyal to the vw badge but not exclusively, but in the main german cars ive had have been the best,

my history run down;

81 vw jetta 1.6 diesel (all of 54bhp)
84 golf mk2 Gti (wish i still had her)
89 vauxhall astra GTE
92 ford fiesta 1.8 diesel (met woman bought house went basic and sensible!)
93 ford fiesta sx
95 peugoet 306 Dturbo (cost me a fortune and in depreciation, bad buy)
98 audi A3 (first company car)
2001 vw golf est 1.9PD 130 (6sp was rare then esp that power output)
2004 audi A3 Sport back sline (beautiful with light grey leather)
2006 (hers) VW Golf GT 140tdi (bit crude but pulled like a train, amazing)
2007 BMW 320i touring
2010 (hers) VW Polo 1.2 tsi (fab engine cant believe how lively it is)
2010 Prius T4 (been an unexpected super car all things considered)

Really like the monza's on the GTI but they're a bugger to keep clean and sharp as hell. You can't wash them without cuttIng yourself  :grin:
