Title: Raising money for charity

Hi GTI people,
I am new to the forum and was wondering how/if you guys did events to specifically raise money for certain charities?
I am thinking car meets to raise money or something... Does anyone have any ideas?
Specifically I would like to raise money for young people living with Cancer... I've only raised £110 so far myself but thought it would be good to think of other fun ways to raise money and help less fortunate people.
I've always avoided the C word as it makes me feel sick inside but sometimes it can't be avoided and we need help get rid of the horrible thing!

Meets etc tend to fall flat  :undecided:  there is normally a rolling road day or two throughout the year where the donations go to charity :smiley:
