Post by: chrisr103 on 14 January 2014, 13:27
I have BMW advertised on facebook with 101000 miles on the clock,
Had a comment earlier asking how I have done a Million miles in it?

This is the conversation

Him- how have you managed a million miles?

Me- thats 101 thousand a million would be 1010000

Him - No mate it goes up to 99 thousand then it's a million

Me - No really it doesnt

Him - I got a 5 in my maths SATs m8 i think you'll find it does

Me-
1 - One
10 - Ten
100 - One hundred
1,000 - One thousand
10,000 - Ten thousand
100,000 - One hundred thousand
1,000,000 - One million
10,000,000 - Ten million
100,000,000 - One hundred million
1,000,000,000 - One billion

Me - Like I said its 101 thousand

If he can't read VERY basic maths, should he really be thinking about buying a potentially fatal machine?

What a douche bag

Love this little pattern you made out of the numbers...

1 - One
10 - Ten
100 - One hundred
1,000 - One thousand
10,000 - Ten thousand
100,000 - One hundred thousand
1,000,000 - One million
10,000,000 - Ten million
100,000,000 - One hundred million
1,000,000,000 - One billion

What a total halfwit. Maybe you should add a few zeros to the price and convince him it's only a few thousand Pounds :D

Looks like a typical troll,
'Him - I got a 5 in my maths SATs m8 i think you'll find it does'
That looks like he's just taking the pee

But he got his maths SAT so he MUST be right. Tell him the car is famous for having done so many miles

This is comical. It never ceases to amaze me what people will argue and defend. When the ego is convinced, it is correct it will argue its point of view until death. You should have asked him how much he would be willing to pay for the first million mile car. You would throw in the secrets for free if the price were right for the car. No point in arguing back when someone believes they are right. I just try to help them along so they can realize the truth on their own. He would be sitting behind the wheel staring at the numbers when it hits him that he doesn't own the first million mile car.
