Boot won't shut!
There seems to be a gremlin in the boot that stops the boot catch shutting properly.
Has anyone had this problem?
It's not the position of the catch, it's the mechanism not locking in place when it's meant to be in the closed position.....
It takes a john Cleese style approach to close it at the minute with repeated slams until it finally catches.
Any ideas, can you take the latch apart or is it a trip to the scrappy?

take off the plastic panel on inside of bootlid and give mechanism a good dose of wd40 and see if that helps.
