Sup guys, got a MKIV Golf GTI 1.8T AUM (150bhp) and had for over a year now and loving every minute! 21 years old from Peterborough and a mechanic as well as at uni so plenty of tinkering going on under the bonnet ;)
Started off with bog standard car, focused on performance first and went for a full 2.5" Scorpion exhaust, decat, Pipercross panel filter, Forge 007P D/V. Then went for a remap over in Leicester by R-Tech to take it to 220 bhp and 280 Ft/Lbs torque!
Then a few cosmetic mods with a black grille (HATE badgeless grilles), black mirrors, black DEPO projector headlights (anniversary/R32 style) and a few interior bits like R32 Steering wheel (feels so much better), carbon fiber instead of nasty wood (what the heck were VW thinking!) and I can't remember what else lol.
Basically I've been busy with it and there might be a bit more to come :) Been a member over on uk-mkivs also but noticed this forum is interesting too so thought why not!
I'll get some pics up once I've taken some more recent ones
