Title: Crazy Insurance quote.

Just had my insurance quote from Sky for £469 TPFT,X reg Mk4 Golf Gti 115bhp,no mods and i'm 54 and  been driving for 36 years with no accidents.DUH.Not very happy at all. :angry:

that's high I'm 30 live in a fairly high crime area and pay about the same as that on a golf gti 1.8t modded with mods declared I'm with sky insurance

That makes me more peed off  :grin:.Yeah i would have expected mine to be about the £200 to £250 mark.I only paid £240 TPFT for my old Mk3 8V.

it's madness you are paying that for a 115 bhp gti at 50 odd my old man is about the same age as you and pays about 350 fc on a 20k vauxhall insignia vxr with direct line,if I were you I would be ringing them ASAP and saying you got a cheaper quote with Adrian flux or someone they will want to beat them as it's there main competitors

Yep that's gonna be my first move.I guarantee that the price will fall like a rock if they know i'm looking elsewhere.

Try fully comp....strangely enough...sometimes works out cheaper!
