Title: Dash lights
Post by: myv8growler on 10 January 2014, 08:17
Had anyone done a decent 'how to' for replacing the dash lights on a mk2?

One side is dark and the other very dim. I assume original bulbs.
Is there a better bulb to use etc.......?

You can replace the bulbs in the clocks with LED versions.

Thanks,
Gonna give it a go this weekend.
Anyone know what bulbs are best to replace?

If you are happy with the standard lighting then just buy stock bulbs.

Think I will.
Do GSF stock them?

Not sure but dealers may.  ebay and VW Heritage are worth checking as well.
