Alright Boys & Girls!
Got a the problem above with my missus car, the key doesn't activate all doors so she has to open manually, put the key in the ignition, turn the key, then unlock all the other doors to prevent the alarm going off. Very long winded!
Anyone had the same problem and might know what's up?
Cheers!
EDIT: Apologies for the double post, my internet at work is more than turd

No one :(

Tried a new battery in the key fob?
-
Yeah tried all the obvious things. Manually unlocking using the key, not the button doesn't even open the doors which is strange imo.

Assuming the interior lights and electric windows are still working it's unlikely to be the fuse for the ccm but check all the fuses anyway. Could be a fault with the ccm or can gateway, you'll need to find someone local who's handy with vagcom to go any further (must be can compatible the £10 ebay jobbies won't work)

yeh all the lights work etc and it locks the whole car via the key ok. We had a look on my mates Vagcom before and nothing actually showed up :/ Will have another go but I just can't see why it wont unlock all doors

get a full auto scan for all control modules with vcds...
-
What will that do? Its been vagcom's and reset to no avail

turns out the missus was a lying cnut so no worries about this any more ;)
