Title: Buying a Golf MK5 3dr 2008
Post by: Icey on 05 January 2014, 17:05
Hi.
Im looking to buy the above car.
Its  a black 3dr,
satnav,
multifunction steering wheel,
highline dash,
heated leather seats,
18inch alloys could do a refurb,
july 2008
and it has 78000  miles.
1 owner from new and full service history.

Bad bits:
It was dirty inside.
The leathers are in an ok shape.
It gas 18inch wheels are curbed and rubbers look like need replacing. They are around 3-4mm.
And i was looking for a 5dr to be fair.

ASKING PRICE IS 7884. maybe il could get it at 7500 as that's the top of me budget
3months warranty and 12 months MOT.

Dont know what to do, Is it a good price considering mileage ?

Thanks

I agree with barrym, I live in London and bought a 08 plate GT sport from a dealer in Yorkshire, the car came with leather, 44'000 miles on the clock with full vw history and one previous owner total price £7650.
Good luck with your search and be willing to travel
