Title: Advice on paint job/selling golf
Post by: JB312 on 05 January 2014, 16:56
Hey.

I'm looking to soon sell my MKV GTi :( However, there is a nice deep scrape on the front bumper (pic below).

My question is, is it worth trying to sell the car with the damage and expecting price drop or get it fixed first?

If I get it fixed does anyone know a ball park figure on the price I'm looking at. I've never had to have any paint jobs done on my car so I'm not even sure what to look for after a repair either.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

doesn't look bad to be honest a decent repair will cost about 150-200 quid an will help you sell it

Sure one of the scratch repair people (Mobile van) will sort it easily.

Hi JB312, Im a mobile smart repairer. For that repair in Manchester you would be looking at £100 to repair the scuff. I don't know what the prices are like down south. Hope this helps :)
