Title: Engine won't turn off

Hi can anyone help me please?? I've got a 20vt golf andmy dash lights an rear number plate light are on when ignition is on an not just when headlights are on and now my car keeps running even if you take the key out the ignition (I had to stall it to turn off) then I played about and it turns out that if my headlights are on an I turn car off take the key out ignition and then turn the headlights off it turns the engine off aswell huh??? Really has baffled me (I'm thinking bad earth???) but any help would be appreciated TIA.....nev

Thats a wierd one.. have you got it on vagcom.. i would check the fuses too :wink:

My girlfriends dad has one so gona pop there an plug it in in a bit only one fuse blown and that was for rear window heater/de-mister, I got in a bit of a flap yesterday wondering how to turn the car off lmao thanks....nev

Jus scanned the car and it seems halfrauds have sold me a battery that is not beefy enough tw@ts

Halfords  :sick: throw it through there window.. (just kidding).. i got a bosch battery from gsf.. think there is a 20% discount code for them on ukmivs too :wink:
