Happy new year everyone i have been blessed with an cooling fan problem seems like it doesn't always come on ive had 2 cases were it nearly overheated but i was stuck in traffic for a long time. I came home from work today and when i was in the garage and fan cut in it sounded very creaky it came on low speed switched of came on low speed again suddly fast speed then switched and then full power and then gradually slowed down my car was at 90 and was switched off anyone had these strange issues help would be appreciated.

Oh and if it is an intermittent fan switch which is the best one at euros http://www.eurocarparts.com/car-switch-and-car-sensor my car has no aircon the connector is a big square one

Will help it from over heating if he gets caught in traffic before he fixes the problem.

ive ordered a fan switch I made the mistake of putting radseal in the cooling system when I changed the timing belt as I thought I had a coolant leak so my water pump squeaks constant and it started to over heat my guess the sensor has clogged up and not getting a correct temp reading

I would also inspect the pump too just incase the impeller has failed.

Im changing the pump soon ordered the premuim part this will be the 3rd waterpump in 3 months
