Few bits done today;

Took out the dodgy sub/amp/power cap (that was live and loose in the boot!)
Took out old leather
Changed door cards to leather highline

Luckily I have a full highline VR that I'm breaking so I've replaced all clips, brackets and sound deadening etc so it is 100% complete interior wise.

Started to play with the cage but not sure on it  :undecided:

Some pics from today ;

(http://i41.tinypic.com/2wnqy61.jpg)
(http://i39.tinypic.com/o547xg.jpg)

Found about £8 under the seats! And just won a Momo wheel and boss on eBay !!

I'll do some more tmw on the highline centre console and one of the rear lights is leaking but I have a spare set so I'll pick the best two and do the seals.

Looking for; stainless back box, aerial options (delete the roof one as I don't like it) new front end not a huge fan of morretes... Vento or is it played out?

Been looking at superchargers and winning one on eBay at the moment FFS don't tell the misses!!!

Few more hours done today;

Interior completed and for now I just bolted the cage in- still not sure but will try it out for a bit......

The heated seats don't seem to be working so need to fault find that, and I'm going to change the quick release front bumper to a factory bumper and smooth it out and go OEM+

Thanks I was going to try the switch unit as previous owner said the same thing about the drivers seat but I have a spare so will try that first if not I'll then look at the loom :)

Just organising paint and body work so it's ready for UD although it will be just in the car park but for me some of the best places to look at the shows are the parking areas!

Went to start it afterwards and battery was flat- Hmmm not sure if i left light on however the battery is GONE and I put my tester on it and it seems the alternator is overcharging........

Another job to sort out next week while its at the garage! LOL Don't you just love old cars!

I've been flat out at work and been doing more planning than working on it!

It's going to put into a very very clean OEM+ car, keeping with it's pedigree;

I'm going to try and put it back to how it should be.

I'm going to take the "Motorsport" bits and put on the mk3 I'm building (a 1.8t from my 1.6cl and the mk4) I have- bit longer term this year but the gti/vr6 will be done first.

Need a set of good split rims genuine staggered so on the hunt for something :)

I'll do some work this weekend and post an update  :smiley:
