Good sizes or bad?
Wheels should be fine even if tyres not? Will need adapters so will need to factor that into the equation.
Cheers.

Tyre is way too wide for the wheel, 225/40/18 is the largest you want.
Et35 doesn't a huge amount of room for adaptors, you want 15mm if you can get them which will give you a final offset of Et20 all round.

I have 15mm on the back and 5mm on the front of mine with 8J and 225/40 tyres. 245 will look crap
-
Ah well bought em. Have seen some adapters so will grab those. Off a Vito and the car won't be lowered straight away so hopefully it won't look too crap.
Kinda needed a wheel after ramming into a kerb at 60mph avoiding a serious accident which left a mate in hospital.
Surprised how well it held up, slightly knocked tracking out and bent the wheel a bit but everything else is golden!

Do we feel 20mm adaptors would be completely out the question?
I'll probably sell the tyres on they're all fairly good.
-
With those tyres, yes. I'm running 20mm spacers on the rear of mine with the same wheel specs and with 225/40/18 tyres they caught like mad, I swapped to 215/40/18 and they still caught when running low.
-
Hmm I don't want the hassle really. Maybe 15 would be best. What are the 215 tyres like mate?

215/40/18 are more expensive than 225/40/18, they give a tiny bit of stretch and I got on with them fine. If it were me, unless you're running very low, I'd use 15mm adaptors and 225/40/18

OK cool. Just some tyres to look for then!
Bloody expensive compared to 15s.

They are aren't they, take a look at the prices of 205/35/18's
I've just fitted 4 of them to mine
