Well it's in A top ten.

Considered it when looking for a semi-compact.  Discounted it because of the fixed focal length - it's a very specific thing to want, or have.

I'd rather have a Fuji X20 in my pocket - significantly more flexible and significantly cheaper.

I've heard it's good. But it's not so popular because there are other options that are better or cheaper.

If you're happy with fixed focal length, then the Fuji X100 is very good. If you want something with a zoom, then the Sony RX100 is good too.

Thanks for the feed back, I've a good SLR a CANON 350D, but I need a good compact as my Olympus C50 was with me for eight years, and took some great shots. The sliding lens cover was the 'On-Off' switch and has failed to work
I've tried using my daughters Kodak Compact since and well lets leave it at there.
So that's why I'm looking for a new one and there is so many on the market.

I'll check out the Fuji X20 & X100 & Sony RX100 as suggested.

The Rioch GR was given a good write up but never heard of Rioch

Minority interest, innit.

Did you want a fixed focal length or a zoom?
