Title: wll a vr6 radiator,fan and slam panel fit on a 1.8 automatic?

I have a leaky rad and am looking to replace it along with the fan as it is not the best. I was wondering if a slam panel, rad and fans combo can be put in instead of my current set up. there is also the same stuff from a 1.9 diesel available..just wondering if that one would be better...i'd rather swap the whole setup rather than using radiator sealant...:). Any advice would be appreciated...
