hi guys,
need a bit of advice! im picking up my integrated engineering forged rods and my wossner forged pistons tomorrow for my AGU, along with main bearings, rod bearings, headbolts etc!
im planning on going for a beach buggy turbos hybrid with a cooling mist water methanol setup, now I need to know what size bore exhaust I should run? will a 2.75" exhaust be sufficient and also will 2.5" intercooler piping be good? im planning on getting the race eurojet cooler if any of you have seen that?
any other tips I will gladly appreciate!
Cheers Lee

best make etc to get and where from mr Barry?
-
Wont the 3" exhaust bang on the rear axle (if lowered)
-
Yea thats what i was thinking???
-
I ran a 3" exhaust on mine and was as low as I could go with the adjusters out, it was tight but it didn't touch the rear beam.

had mine custom made 3inch all the way so I could spec the downpipe as you will already know they are a nightmare

yeah ive sussed the downpipe for it, company in the us make downpipes for RHD golfs lol just rest of exhaust...
-
also has anybody used these injectors?

are they man enough for a hybrid turbo? seem a decent price!

you will need to decide what power output you are aiming for before you choose fuel injectors.

K04 023 hybrid mate. 340-370bhp I'll be happy with...
-
well according to the witchhunter performance fuel injector calculator for 370bhp you would need something like a 700ish cc per minute fuel injector

I take it you got your wossner pistons to drop the compression ratio yeah? As agu pistons are wossner as standard!
-
Lol any proof of this??
-
I used to have a 1.8 20v engine specification sheet on my old laptop, sadly i haven't still got it on iPad.
AGU pistons are indeed forged as standard.
Edit: found it, see below
Edit2: although cuts off the piston spec

Just double checked as you made me doubt myself! Lol! They are mahle forged pistons, 9.5cr, 20mm wrist pin as standard.
