Title: part no information 6x2837014c

Doea anybody no if this door lock module part no from vw has been superceeded or if this has superceeeded any other part no at all??
I cant find any for sale for under £100 but most other door lock module part no can be picked up off ebay for £35 brand new.
whats so special about my module compared to these others??

£35 new will be Chinese copies, don't expect them to last long

Any peripd of time fixed for £35 is better than £100 odd just for the module.i could repair it 3 times over if it was any other part no.
guessing I jus have to bite the bullet then and pay £100 odd?

Do you men the module?if so I'm not sure sorry I havnt actually seen it lol,I've had it changed in the past by my machanic but the new one didn't work either so thinking it was the wrong part no.

The later green/black type and early black type are all interchangeable, the later are just less prone to failing apparently although my mate has had both his green/black modules fail on his 03 plate Golf
