Post by: johnnyvr6 on 21 December 2013, 14:20
when I'm driving quick there is a funny air kind of noise coming out of the boost gauge when driving slow there is no noise, and my car won't boost more that 10 psi this golf seems to have a new problem every time I fix something

perhaps the gauge or vac line is leaking.

You need a buzz free t piece when fitting a boost gauge.. if you already have one check the vac line to the boost gauge

its not a buzzing noise more like a rush of air noise

Did you use PTFE tape on the threads when fitting the vac line to the boost gauge?
