Good evening everybody! This is my first post on the forum so I'll do my best!
I took delivery of a white GTI with performance pack at the end of November and have had a couple of problems!
The first being that the clutch pedal began to creak like an old barn door, which has now been fixed by replacing a pin in the clutch pedal.
The second problem is that I'm sure there is some quiet weird humming noise that I can hear, higher pitched than the tyre noise (Bridgestone's). Took it back to the dealers and they had to reposition a part in the suspension, but I can still hear that annoying noise. Any ideas guys of what this could be before I go back to the dealers? Or has anybody had anything similar?

Difficult to identify what the sound might be on that description... When you say they
had to reposition a part in the suspension
Was it in relation to the noise or to address some other issue? What exactly did they do? Does the noise change with speed? Does the noise change with steering angle?

Mine wasn't that loud but it did become a bit creaky/clicky. I traced it to a pin (nylon?) where the linkage attaches to the pedal arm and was able to sort it myself by just rotating the pin by hand. Simples  It's worth a quick look if anyone gets the same but lives a long way from their dealer.

They carried out the work on the suspension to correct the noise I described to them.
On the invoice from VW it says - noise from suspension. Checked tpi files & refitted front suspension rubbers & tested all-o.
They may by coincidence have found a problem that I wasn't aware of and fixed that without actually fixing the noise I was telling them about.
The noise doesn't change due to the steering angle but does change a little according to different road surfaces and speed. Which makes me think it's suspension related?

Or tyre related? How old are your Bridgestones? Their compound seems to be getting harder by age/mileage and they do create an awful sound. Me and my brother changed them as they were driving us mad (and the car not in its meant direction...). If it's speed-related, check it out too, just in case...

They're pretty much brand new. The car has about 1500 miles on the clock now.
