Hi my name is ben and i own a mk2 1.6 golf.

had it for about four months and have decided to buy
a nice 3door mk2 gti and do it up.
as i am 18 by the time i have done it up from scratch i will be able to insure it

been looking around the forums and have seen some very nice golfs.

hoping to go to some meets and once again HI!!

How long you planning to take doing it up????? I'm 28 and my insurance has only just become reasonable, it has taken 6 years no claims to get there........

Mind you wish I had gti when I was 18 it is so cool........

my mate had a gti just before he turned 18!!!
a 1.8

im looking to do a big conversion with new dash, interior etc.

so im gonna buy a cheap gti thats got nice bodywork and declare it off the
road and do it up over the next few months prob get it on the road jan maybe
