Title: Stop check coolant!!
Post by: 1 gti on 18 December 2013, 19:16: I've got a golf se tdi 100. I get this message pop up sometimes, stop, check coolant. It won't clear until you turn the engine off. I've checked coolant and it's bang on, no water leaks or anything. Anybody else had this problem? Any help or info is appreciated. Thanks

You are confusing coolant and windscreen washer fluid :tongue:

I had this a year or so ago, and it was due to the sensor being nakered. Just replace the coolant tank and this will fix the problem. About £15 IIRC. :smiley:
