Need Vagcom How much isit what is best cable to buy.

As stated i have a mk3 golf gti ABF engine 1997 i want to download and use vagcom but where can i download from and what is best cable to buy for my car.

Full vagcom / VCDS or just code reading capability?

Can get an obd 2 cable for about £10 off the 'bay. as stated you can download VCDS Lite from the RossTech website. This will allow you to scan and clear fault codes (DTC's) and monitor a number of sensor outputs which is good for fault finding, will feel like Brian Spilner reading your laptop connected to the car!

The first one is for use with official Rosstech cables I believe and the second one for everything else eg. Ebay copy cables.
