Title: Dash warning light
Post by: vwgolfv5 on 17 December 2013, 18:38
Picked the car up from the garage today after having loads of work done, one of which was pads and discs all round.
On my way home a warning light kept flashing on and off. It was in a triangle and was a yellow/orange colour.

I'm guessing that is brake related, is that correct ?

So, after using the search I, think it was the ESP warning light.

Why would that flash on and off ?
It only did it a few times, but all the same, it shouldn't do it at all, should it ?

My best guess would be that your "old" pads that were removed had a Pad warning sensor and the "new" pads that the garage used did not have the sensor on them.

I.E........

Your old pads.....
