Title: my mk5 golf gti

Hi all I am looking for sum help for my golf gti mk5 when I start the car its ok for about 5 to 10 mins on tick over then it starts to groan like it as no oil in then wen I drive it I can get to 4000 revs an it feels like I am toppin out and it dunt seam to have the power that a gti should have could sum1 plz help. i would much   appreciate it cheers

check with vw to see if its had the coil packs done under the recall they had an they usually give it a free check while they have it  :smiley:

did you get this soerted out would be interested to know what the fault was.

tbh - it doesn't sound like a coil pack issue...

have you checked the diverter valve or the pc valve they both can cause a lack of power.
