Title: Caliper repair kit
Post by: WeekendMechanic on 13 December 2013, 16:47
I just bought these on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190740833462?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 I know how the sleves go in but in which order do the rubber boot and rubber sleves go in any specialist tools required?

Thats for a mk2 aint it? Mk3 calipers must be different. Which engine do you have and what year?

I'm guessing here but are the 'plastic' sleeves Teflon and designed to fit on the outside of the rubber?

If they were designed to go inside, there would be no reason to split them.

No sunshine they go on the inside and I managed I wraped the plastic sleeve with silicone inserted in grommet and push in metal sleeve viola snug as a bug
