Hi seen it recently but can't find it now :( standard width of vancouvers?
-
7.5"
-
Cheers got a se of 8.5's just trying to work out best tyre size
-
What offset are the new wheels?
-
Can't remember off hand test fitted tho and they are fine
-
Et44
-
Those wheels will poke 19.7mm more than the Vancouvers and be 5.7mm closer to the suspension on the inside.
If you want a bit of stretch then 225-40's should be fine, but my preference would be 235-40, as that will give a more upright side wall. It all depends how low you are going and how much outer arch clearance you need.
-
Arch clearance with right height is not a problem as its going on air so just want them to tuck when on the floor if they don't they don't i'll come up with something i was looking at 225/40/18 they came with 245's HUGE!
-
235's fit an 8.5" rim perfectly. I had a BMW in the past with 8.5" rims on the front, initially ran 225's which looked stretched, but that extra 10mm up to a 235 made them perfect
-
How perfect? I like a touch of stretch
-
225/40/18 are better for me 235 to straight side wall
-
I can only find a piccie of the rears, but the stretch was very similar to the front....

What profile are they?
-
They were 225/35 19 front, 255/30 19 rears. I went up to 235/35 and 265/30 after that.
BTW, the car didnt sit that high, it had been on the jack and let down so was sitting high :embarrassed:
