Title: Random flat spots on boost
Post by: XMC1980 on 10 December 2013, 23:23
Recently over last couple of weeks I been getting random flat spots on boost, maybe 1 second at a time, they're not consistent and not all the time?

I recently replaces a vacuum hose and it's fine and replaced all plugs and did an oil service including engine flush and pick up pipe

It's bugging me now

Get it scanned as above; but from experience mine did this on the standard DV as it was leaking under boost.

It i. Not advised to ever use engine flush on turbo powered cars because it can cause the oil pickup pipe to block up.
