Just read on another forum that if your car is fitted with a dpf as standard and you've had it removed/deleted it will fail its MOT

I think this could be quite worrying for a lot of people. Lots of people out there who have DPF deletes this would be a significant expense for those people. Would not be suprised if there is a sudden increase of second hand diesels suddenly becoming available. Buyers beware!

DPF and now SCR for Euro 6 as well meaning Nox measurement could be on the way too.
Although the Smoke test is still based on raising the engine speed with minimal engine load (In neutral) which doesn't accurately measure how much smoke is actually being produced at peak rpm.
