Title: no boost
Post by: davidgtrr34 on 09 December 2013, 21:00
I have a 2004 gti, auq engine code. my turbo wont boost, car is running sound, no noises, not using oil, no smoke or anything.
When stopped if I rev it I can hear the turbo spool but it wont spool under load.
Has anyone ever seen this before

It must be mapped. The auq was 180 standard anything higher I'. Sorry it's mapped.

To answer your question I'd take a guess that you have a boost leak.

Then you have made adjustments and your car would naturally need a map now that's your issue.

take the diode mod off, it might have chucked the car into limp mode. euther that or the actuator has gone soft

I don't think its the diode because I had limp mode before and it was running 3psi but now it only stays in vacuum it wont even hit 0 psi

but ill try removing it anyway and see what happens

Not really...

It moves very easy and it springs back when I let go.
Is there any way to test it without removing the turbo
