so recently when my car is started just after moving off the EPC and traction control light come on the dash and car has a very lumpy idle and goes into limp mode .... sometimes when left for about 5 mins the car will start ok and no lights come on the dash .... when scanned it bring up the following codes .... i have cleaned the throttle body and intake air temp sensor and realigned the TB with vagcom after ! really p****ing me off as it seems to be tempremental !
only has started doing this since i changed the numberplate and puddle lights to LED ... but i doubt its got anything to do with this ??
any help much appreciated !! car is a 1.8T AUM with 80,000 miles ....

unplug your maf sensor see how it runs :smiley:

i tried that and it made no difference to how it was running .... still ran terrible when unplugged :cry:

Just double check the electrical connection on the throttle body. Looks like something could be loose.

does it idle normal or is high or moving

From the ross tech website:
There are certain test conditions that must be met before doing a TBA:
No DTC's in the Engine Controller
Battery voltage at least 11.5 V
Throttle must be at idling position (keep your foot off the gas pedal)
Throttle body part must not be dirty (carbonized).
Coolant temperature must be between 5 and 95C
If fault codes were cleared cycle the ignition off and back on prior to running Basic Settings.

All of those faults are pointing to wiring IMO
