Title: very infrequent flat spots/hesitation
Post by: Carl! on 07 December 2013, 10:10
My limited knowledge is saying possibly maf sensor? Are there any other culprits? My mpg doesnt seem that great, 25-29 around town, about highest ive seen on motorway about 35-36. On a 1.8t, could that also point to slight maf issues or is that about right?

No engine management light and my boost guage peaks about 8psi holds around 6, again not 100% if that is right?

Get it scanned for fault codes, could be a misfire, lambda sensor, or MAF

Take it you mean on a proper setup yeah? I've got 1 of those cheap fault readers but nothing is coming up on that. Going to take it to a friends garage for airbag light turning off so i'll see if he'll sort me out with a full scan.
