Title: Shifting in ADC
Post by: Skinnee D on 06 December 2013, 20:24
A very neat feature that I failed to notice until recently :embarrassed: is the ability to shift the manual transmission in ADC without cancelling the setting. Very handy; never found this on a cruise control system before.

Indeed. Lets you shift up and down without touching the accelerator. The whole electronic control thing is absolutely amazing on the GTI. Lets hope it remains reliable...

Mercedes had it in SLK since 2007. (That's when a friend of mine got his.) Nice feature, but only if you have ACC. In conventional cruise control it's better being able to cancel it with the clutch too. In y opinion of course!

I agree - the feature works a treat!
