Title: throttle body QUICK HELP

Have the following code..16891..so took throttle body off and gave it a proper clean.. now my fookin vagcom wont work and i cant realign it..am i ok to drive for it to realign itself or will i fook something up?? Need some quick help as i was meant to be going out in the next half hour :angry:

Yes, driving it for a few mile will align itself on its own

Managed get vagcom work and says i cannot do realign or anything that sort because i have free version :angry:

should clear after a few miles, just expect rubbish running for a while until it realignes.

Took for a drive and didnt even feel like took throttle body of was idling normal :huh:

I took it easy for about 10 miles anyway.. and then thought ill test the haldex system to its limits hehe.. got home checked fault code..and no fault codes in engine wohoo :grin:

Just have the traction control faults to sort now :sad:

Got the same problem, mines down to the MAF having low signal

No it starts perfectly, are you having that problem?

Yh i was day before..it started and cut out and was on a warm start literaly just poped in and out the shop.idle was very ruff too until i started drive then was fine..thats when i scanned it and found that code :grin:

See how it runs now, if it comes back then it's definatly not the TB.

You should notice your car being more responsive to throttle now you've cleaned the TB up :) I did when I did it on my car

quite oftern the crank position sensor fault causes problems when warm

I thought that too.. but it has not done it on warm starts since i cleaned out the throttle body
