I've used these guys for the past year for all my servicing and a few repairs and they are very, very good.
They are part of the Sidlow main dealer, but offer service for older VAG cars using genuine parts, vw technicians and they have access to all the dealer facilities and diagnostic equipment.
You deal directly with the technician that does the work and they will show you the work and talk you through it properly, unlike the usual gormless fool on the dealer service reception.
The two guys who mainly work there are really friendly and unlike the main dealer are always trying to help you keep costs down.
They charge about half the main workshop labour rate - about £40 per hour.
