pretty sure there is a genuine 1 in the classifieds on here

Gti James is selling a gen one too

For the money you can ABS ones for they're alright but the fitment isn't perfect. Some of the fellas run them and they look good. Infact I believe Nino has a rep on his gti and it's looks pretty good.
Finally, if you have washer jets then you will have to cut the holes yourself as I've never seen a rep with them pre cut.
-
Are you going for the entire R32 look, or just fancy the front bumper?
I feel it ruins the car if you only have the front...Go the whole hog or modify the front, look different.

Don't bother with the replica ones they are terrible compared to the real ones. I bought an ABS plastic one, trial fitted it and sold it on. The genuine grilles don't fit, arches don't line up very well, and it's not as beefy as a genuine one. I couldn't help but think the car looked like a toy R32 :undecided:
If you can find a genuine one, go for it, but you defintely need the rest of the kit, or a least skirts and an anni rear or something.

My abs rep one was a perfect fit and for £100 was a bargin.

There are many reps out there and the fit is terrible. However if you get a JOM one like I got its a really decent fit except it don't correctly line up perfectly on the join between the lights and start of the wing but that's it th. Gen grilles won't clip in but you can make them fit not hard to do all.
At the end of the day it depends on what you want to spend £100 on a decent rep or £3-400 on a gen.

Only way I see it is you will get your money back with a Gen bumper should you decide to sell it.

I have an abs 1 and it is a perfect fit and was really cheap
