Title: gti turbo running on 3??

My engine managment light came on yesterday and this morning it sounded like a split screen. I went through the motions of checking each plug and no.1 made no difference to the idle so changed the plug and still no difference... Help!!!!

phone vw see if your car was part of the recall they had on coil packs as im guessing your car is newer than 2001  :wink: oh and welcome

Thanks barry, did exactly that and it's going in Friday for a new coil pack.. Sorted!! ;-)

Thanx to the nice people at vw colchester, my dubs now got a new coil pack free of charge because of the recall. Even valeted it for me.. Touch!!
