Title: Paul Walker RIP
Post by: xtetx on 01 December 2013, 05:54
Paul Walker taken in a car crash!
If you don't know who he is, the star of Fast & Furious!
Such a shame at only 40 years old !

Sad news, as much of his on screen stuff was at time a bit cheesy it looks like the charity work he did was heartfelt and helped a lot of young people.

Yeah man. It's weird how when you grow up watching somebody in films how much it gets you when they pass. I felt like this when Ryan Dunn was killed!
Just shows how fragile life is and to make sure you make the most of it!

Whether or not you like the Fast & Furious films, no-one can deny the impact the first film had on the modified car scene. The film bought it from the dark underworld and shoved it into the mainstream, bringing with it many brilliant people and cars along the way. Cheesy as it sounds, but it's thanks to the original film I sparked an interest in modified cars, later into VW's.

Paul Walker, car enthusiast, actor, charity worker... Remember all he did.

Race In Peace my good sir.

Think about it, he lost control of a Sports Car and put it into a lampost.
How fast do you need to be going to do that? IMO the guy was being a dick driving like that in the middle of a built up area.
What if he mowed down your child?
At least he wont be getting away with it like most Hoolwood stars :lipsrsealed:

Really great speculation that mate, someone lost their life, no matter how good of an internet crash speculator you are, still won't bring him back.

Was done for charity, I bet the road was closed off at the time.

The Carrera GT is notoriously tricky to drive and even if you're used to it, it can bite. A touch too much boot and it can snap so I am guessing this may be what happened here.

A sad loss to the world of film and the world of charity. RIP.

Hmmm apologies, he got in his mates car who sped away from a charity event probably not egging him on at all.
Beware dicking around in cars kills, next what's for dinner.

So he died doing something he had a passion for, bearing in mind the road was closed at the time judging by photos..... that makes it right?

What about the police in Scotland, stupid idea those helicopters aren't they? Flimsy things. Was their own fault I take it...

Two died FFS.

1. Hello

2. It's not often I agree with b3llend but I do, however. . . .

3, closed road or not, that car was being " driven " to do that much damage

4, people have died, how and why, who cares. let's just show some respect to the fact he did a lot for charity. Least he went out doing summat he had a passion for.

Here ends this years sensible post
