What are these tyres like?
Whos got/had them and what are they like in comparison to other tyres.

thinking of replacing my eagle f1's With them. These are £100 a corner and the f1's are £140.
Read some reviews and seem good but would like a bit more info on them

Crap in the wet tbh and not as good as T1R's in the dry.

Had a set on one wheels and a set of Toyos on another and swapped them about a bit.

I have never run them so can't comment.

Mind you I never would run them.

Buy some decent tyres.

I'm running NS20's on the MK4 and they're ok, at the end of the day you get what you pay for with tyres. Nankangs are cheap so expect them to not perform anywhere near as well as something like Eagle F1's, especially in the wet.

These are the track day tyres and thats what I had in mind. Dont confuse these with the nankang ns2

I read a review and the guy said these where 2 seconds faster a lap than his f1's and that the f1's over heated after 4 laps but the ns2r didnt.

Bellend what compound did you get?

hey you could buy that reputable brand continental. you know the ones that start cracking all the way round lol. have you guys seen where all the so called quality tyres are made these days. whichever country is cheapest that's where. so don't be expecting the quality you used to get.
