Title: Might sound like a stupid question but..
Post by: Nino on 24 November 2013, 10:20
I am prob answering my own question here but I have noticed there are two types of brake pads for my car.
one with a brake pad sensor and one without.
How do I tell what I need to buy is it a case of whipping the wheel off and looking for something in particular?

As far as i know yes. The sensor should be on the drivers side brake

Depends if you want it or not. The warning light/buzzr can be disabled in VAG COM if you don't to save having to bodge up the wires

The sensor is on the passenger wheel. Always buy the pads with the sensor, if when you go to fit them your car doesn't have the sensor, just chop the wiring off the pad.
