Title: HEADLIGHTS

Hi all, Got a problem started yesterday. When I switch on headlights only sidelights come on. If I then switch to main beam the headlights then come on but no main beam :angry:. Anyone got any ideas? I've checked fuzes, bulbs etc and can find no problems there. I'm guessing it's a loose wire somewhere but can't find anything. I've had one of those headlight boosters fitted a few months now. Wonder if that has anything to do with it.

Headlight boosters? Do you mean an uprated, relayed loom. Unplug it and plug everthing back in as it originally was and you'll soon see if that's the culprit.

Problem solved. It was both relays on the headlight upgrade. I got a mobile fitter round and he fitted new ones and now all is well. Does anyone know where I can get replacement plugs the the bulbs push into. One is slightly damaged.
