Title: 8v gti and vr6 engine looms
Post by: sharki786 on 22 November 2013, 19:50
Could anyone tell me if there is any difference in the loom from the actual engine to the fuse box? Or from the loom connector in the bay to the engine?
Im thinking about ramming a vr engine in my anni. So need advice

I thought from the fuse box the wiring would be same. Only place it would be different would be the connector on side of engine

Nope, it is very different with lots of extra sensors etc so you will need the engine loom as well.

I put it down wrong i thinks. Theres 2 parts to the loom. The part thats on fuse box and then the loom from engine. On my agg you have the black round connector on the side of engine (gb side) thiz then goes to the fuse box. If not then il just get the lot.

It is different, you will need the loom from the fusebox to the engine as well as the engine harness.
