Title: 2010 GTI Foglight bulb - what type?

Anyone know what bulb a 2010 GTI takes?

I believe a 35w H8...and can't believe they differ between Mk6 GTIs...but can anyone confirm?
Even some of the on-line guides vary...some say H8, some H9.

What the hell are they?

The only sure fire way to find out is to take one out and have a look.

My GTI is a 2010 and it definitely takes H8 for the fog.
