Title: Clutch Master cyclinder 16V GTI -- left or right hand diffence part?
Post by: tarmman on 21 November 2013, 17:36
Hi, I am a new here.. I am swaping GTI 16V into 1.8 in Thailand.

Got a message from technician that from his experience in swaping GTI and VR6 manual into MK3 1.8, the master clutch cyclinder always fails and it is better to change since the swapping process.

However, in thailand there is only 1.6 and 1.8 models with clutch cable sold officially, so i browsed around in Uk part web site and found mostly "for left hand drive" such as mapco 1789.

is it necessary to use "for right hand drive" part for this ? If so can i get the part no.?

Thank you
