Removed from car today but managed to break a lug off, seems impossible to get a new one have searched the internet, so hoping someone on here will know where I can get a new one? help appreciated please.

been obsolete for a while now! you'll really struggle to find one!
I'd say sack it all off, get a mk3 golf fti/vr6 fuel tank and lift pump, wire that in, then use a corrado/mk3 golf filter housing and filter under the car, job's a good un :cool:

This is for a 16ver but you can mix and swap fuel pipes to suit in my mind?
If they are really obsolete you can go to the American websites and look for a Jetta 16V 1989 fuel pump housing they look pretty close to me??? Check it out as I have not done this mod. But is the pump done for or is it the accumulator that's blocked and filter?

Actually nothing wrong with it. It's been off the road quite some years so wanted to clean the whole fuel system from front to back. The filter pipes were rotten so decided to remove unit from car to clean it all up properly and broke one of the mounting lugs. I will prob repair it now clean it up and refit.
The link to gsf housing is extinct. I tried to order one Thursday but said none in stock. I rang up head office and was told they have none left in the company and won't be getting more. They just haven't got round to removing it from website.

Shame the housing lug has broken I'm sure it can be fixed somehow that Jetta 16v 1989 fuel housing is very close though?

If the cars still running the original k-jet fuel system you're going to have to find a 2nd hand replacement, as fitting the mk3 tank and pump won't work due to the k-jet pressure requirements being way higher than a mk3 pump can supply.

I have one on my 8v :lipsrsealed: If you can get hold of an 8v pump easy I will swap ya :smiley:
