Hi guys, looking for a bit of help, basically, my sump has a hairline crack in it along with a split in the hose that goes from the sump to the turbo. Im just wondering if anybody knows this hose part number or what its called? Is it a straight from VW job or can I buy an aftermarket one somewhere?
Cheers,
Robert

Do you mean the pipe that is in the sump giving the turbo it's feed? If so this is own as the oil pickup pipe and get a new one from vw around £13
-
He mean the turbo oil feed pipe.

Im on my third sump now.....and the cars not even lowered

Yes, the one you are referring to is the oil return.
How the hell have you gone through that many sumps? I ran mine with coilovers all the way down for a year without cracking a single one

Yes sump return pipe is a separate piece, I'll find you the part number in a mo

06A 145 735 AA - around £60 new!
You'll also need some gaskets and bolts to go with it

1off 058 145 757 C
2off N 010 217 23
1off 058 145 757 A

Much appreciated for the part numbers etc :)
As for being on the third sump....Ive got the girlfriend to thank for that, she doesn't realize you have to slow down for speedbumps!!
The aluminium sumps are pretty weak though eh, I saw a few posts somewhere else about the steel bottomed ones? Anybody have these?

As said it's the turbo return pipe, the feed pipe sits above the oil filter housing, the gasket and bolts will cost peanuts mate
